Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrive Tambolaka - Lake Weekuri - Mandorak Beach
Welcome to Tambolaka! The starting point of our Sumba Photography Tour.
Upon arrival at the airport, meet and greet with your guide and then we go to local restaurant for lunch. After that, will be going to Lake Weekuri. It is a crystal-clear salt water lake overlooking the ocean which makes it a great photo spot. Do not miss to walk around the rocks and reef where you can also see the ocean. Next to the Lake, we will find Mandorak Beach. It is guarded with 2 huge rock ridges pointing to the middle and crystal clear water. We will look for opportunity for sunset photos here. After that, we go the your accommodation.

Day 2: Watumalandong Sunrise - Rateggaro Village - Tanjung Mareha - Bwanna Beach Sunset
Today, we are going to wake up early at 3am to be ready for catching the sunrise at Watumalandong Beach. After that, we return to the hotel for breakfast, but before that we will make a stop in Ratengaro Village where you can take some nice pictures of the local and the beauty of the village which standing in front of the beach.
Arrive at hotel, freshen up and rest a bit. Lunch box will be provided. Around 2pm we will drive again for 2 hours to visit Tanjung Mareha where you can see the beautiful view of two side beaches from one point. After that go down to Bwanna Beach. The beach is a long clear colorful sand beach under the majestic cliff heading to the Indian Ocean makes this place extraordinary, whilst the beauty is unquestionable. Enjoy the day at a quiet beach till the sunset.

Day 3: Lapopu Waterfall - Praijing Village - Walakiri Beach Sunset
Today, the journey will continue to East Sumba and you have to wake up early at 4am. On the way you will make a stop to visit the Lapopu Waterfall for a sunrise. You will need to do a small hike of approximately 15 minutes and cross a bamboo bridge to get there. There is a nice spot to sit down where you can watch the water find its way down the hill. You can also bring your swimming clothes to take a dip in the water just in front of the big waterfall and cool down after a long day of adventure.
Our trip continues to the Praijing, a traditional village uphill surrounded by lots of greenery. This is one of the few villages where we can actually have a beautiful overview of the entire village and draw an idea how the village is conducted. Take some time to walk around the village; the elders occupy most of the houses and kids are always around to share their smiles. You can share some candies with them if you have. Then we continue to your hotel and check in. When the time is perfect for sunset, we go to Walakiri Beach. Lunch will be served at local restaurant.
Have a lot of rest because we are going to start the next day around midnight.

Day 4: Watuparunu Beach Sunrise - Prailiu Village - Wairinding Hill Sunset
Rise early! We will begin the day at 1am today for a trip to Watuparunu Beach to get the sunrise. Journey from the accommodation to the beach is about 3 hours. On arrival, wait for the sunrise as you prepare your shots. After that, we go back to hotel for breakfast and freshen up. At around 1 pm, we go for lunch at a local restaurant. Then we continue to Prailiu, a village in East Sumba where you can find a gallery that full with Ikat and souvenirs that made by the locals. When the time is best for sunset, we depart to Wairinding Hill.

Day 5: Walakiri Beach Sunrise - End Of Trip
Today is the last day of your Sumba Photography Tour. We will wake up early to catch the sunrise at the Walakiri Beach with its dancing mangrove trees. We go back to the hotel for breakfast, then prepare to leave. Then depend on your flight schedule, the driver will escort you to the airport. Thank you for enjoying this tour with Come2Indonesia!
